Handbell Music

For beginning and smaller handbell choirs.

Handbell Compositions: Compositions

Handbell Pieces - For The SMALLER Choir

Handbell choirs come in all types of sizes, ages, ability levels and experience levels.  These pieces are for the smaller choir.  The pieces require only two octaves of bells, and most can be rung by 7-8 ringers.

Jacob's Ladder

For the beginning (2-octave) handbell choir. This arrangement "sounds difficult/plays easy." The high bells AND the low bells each have a chance to play the melody. The middle section provides an opportunity to teach ensemble "chord" technique.

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

I arranged Swing Low, Sweet Chariot for a beginning, 2-octave, bell choir. It sounds much more difficult than it is because it contains repeated patterns that are easily learned and performed.
